Gardai had to hire a truck to remove all the stolen property, such was the size of the haul Stolen electrical equipment and other property, including a fully-fitted kitchen, have been seized by Gardai in Co. Donegal. The goods were recovered following the search of a house in Letterkenny.
The operation involved armed officers, detectives and uniformed Gardai.
Two youths arrested and questioned have since been released and a file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The haul included a wide range of items, including 16 mobile phones, games consoles, flat-screen televisions, laptops, a washing machine and seven sky remote controls.
Garda Superintendent Vincent O'Brien said the size of the seizure was unprecedented.
"We had to to hire a truck to come to the house to remove it all."
